ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Melissa and I’m a fashion communications student and blogger. I love interiors and fashion. I am very passionate about colour and design in general. As a professional, I work with fashion brands on promotional campaigns and curate items to create editorial layouts.
However, in my free time, I love to read books. Growing up I owned a lot of paperbacks and the first author I ever read was Enid Blyton. By grade 9, I moved onto Agatha Christie, literature classics and John Grisham. In college I was a huge fan of British crime authors such as Ian Rankin, Stephen Booth and Mark Billingham to name a few. I've also read a fair amount of chick-lit.
In the last 8 months or so, I have developed a love for YA novels. I have read everything from sci-fi, dystopia, fantasy, paranormal to YA romance in the genre. I'm trying to read as many series as I can and I post my reviews on Goodreads and Amazon. I probably read 5 books a month on average. I am a quick reader unless I am busy on Uni assignments.
My other pastimes are listening to music, shopping and cooking. I hope you all enjoy my reviews. I hope to keep this blog as up-to-date as possible.
